Welcome to the seminar: Öffentliche Finanzen und Soziale Sicherung: Plurale vs. Mainstream-Ökonomik?

Since the financial crisis in 2008, Plural Economics has established as a new direction in economics and  strongly critizes fundamental assumptions and methods of so-called mainstream economics. Conversely, there are always arguments that the mainstream economy is much more plural than many critics assert. In this seminar the students will work on different arguments of these positions in the framework of a group work. With the help of organized discussion groups an exchange between the groups takes place. Finally, each student will write a short seminar paper on a selected aspect of the discussion.
